Graduate School 101Grad School 101

Each semester the college of engineering hosts Graduate School 101 - a free workshop designed to give top undergraduates information they need to help make decisions regarding whether to continue on for graduate school or accept employment upon graduation.

These critical topics will be discussed:

  • Options after graduation
  • Benefits of pursuing a graduate degree
  • How to choose a graduate program
  • Admission/application process
  • Funding opportunities

In addition, there will be a panel of current engineering graduate students to provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to ask questions and learn from their experiences of making the decision to attend graduate school and the transition from undergraduate to graduate level academics. Invited students are strongly encouraged to attend this workshop to enable them to make the most informed decision possible regarding their future.
