What are Peer Mentors?

Peer Mentors are all undergraduate students. All of the Peer Mentors live in Mosher Hall (with the exception of one) alongside the freshmen participating in the first year of the Engineering Living Learning Community (ELLC). They work with the ELLC Resident Advisors and support the academic efforts of the students while providing a healthy social network within the ELLC floors and the Mosher Hall community. In addition, Peer Mentors have scheduled office hours to help students with academic questions and provide resources to students.

	Riaz Husain  069 Mosher Hall  Major: Aerospace Engienering  Email: riaz-husain@tamu.edu  About me: I am a sophomore and a new peer mentor this year at A&M. I enjoy learning about how stuff works and how stuff is made. I will do my best to help students in subjects like math, engineering, chemistry, and physics.
	Holly Nava  244 Mosher Hall  Major: Aerospace Engineering  Email: hnnava1@tamu.edu  About me: I like to play video games and I love helping people out. I have been told many times that I am a nice and kind person, and to people that know me they call me a dork cause I can act goofy naturally, too.
	Derek Rodriguez  Off Campus  Major: Industrial Engineering  Email: drodriguez2010@tamu.edu  About me: I am a Senior Industrial Engineering major from Odessa, Texas. I enjoy watching baseball (my favorite team is the Texas Rangers), reading, and listening to music. One thing I would like to do one day is travel across America. Engineering has become sort of a passion for me. I wish that I can spread that passion to others. And even though I may be a busy person, I will almost always drop what I am doing to help those who ask for it.
