What are Peer Mentors?

Peer Mentors are all undergraduate students. All of the Peer Mentors live in Mosher Hall (with the exception of one) alongside the freshmen participating in the first year of the Engineering Living Learning Community (ELLC). They work with the ELLC Resident Advisors and support the academic efforts of the students while providing a healthy social network within the ELLC floors and the Mosher Hall community. In addition, Peer Mentors have scheduled office hours to help students with academic questions and provide resources to students.

Some of my favorite hobbies are watching my favorite baseball team (Texas Rangers), playing the trumpet, and watching movies. Engineering has become sort of a passion for me. I wish that I can spread that passion to others. And even though I may be a busy person, I will almost always drop what I am doing to help those who ask for it.
	Pamela Withrow  Off Campus  Major: Electrical Engineering  Email: pjwithrow@gmail.com  About me: I am a senior in electrical engineering, graduating in May 2009. I am am passionate about my family, cooking, traveling, and the San Antonio SPURS!! I have done a year co-op with CenterPoint Energy in Houston, and can answer any questions regarding co-ops, some companies and the basic interviewing process. My emphasis is power and you can usually find me studying on the 3rd floor in Zachry, but am always willing to help out. Feel free to email or call if you have any questions!
