The
ELLC encourages the formation of study groups and social networks.
A peer mentoring program for first-year classes is offered in
the hall. Former participants of the ELLC program hold office
hours in Mosher 159 to assist students with academic questions.
In addition, some of our peer teachers provide office hours
in Studio 12 of the Commons and offer outside class support.
The peer teacher schedule can be found online at: http://essap.tamu.edu/peer-tchrs.htm.
The ELLC is located in Mosher
Hall on the south east side of campus, where ELLC
students are assigned to all 5 floors. Mosher is one of the
commons style residence halls and is co-ed. The building’s
features include study lounges, convenient laundry facilities,
community kitchen and a recreational area. Each room is equipped
with two computer network connections.
For additional information, photos, floor plans, maps, virtual
tours, etc., please visit the Mosher web page.
Our program staff includes a project
manager, hall
director, resident
advisors, and tutors.
