Any Time! Prosepctive Student Visits
Prospective students and their parents can schedule an individual weekday visit to the Texas A&M University campus by contacting the Aggieland Visitor Center at 979-845-5851 or by email at visit@tamu.edu. The Visitor Center will help schedule your visit by arranging campus tours and meetings with representatives on campus. Recommended offices to visit: Admissions Counseling, Office of Student Financial Aid, University Honors Programs, Engineering Departmental Academic Advisor.

10/12/07 Transfer Information Day
Transfer Information Day (TID) is the only campus visitation day specifically designed for undergraduate transfer students. This is a terrific opportunity for prospective transfer students to learn about Texas A&M University. During Transfer Information Day, participants will find out about the transfer admission process and the transfer admission criteria, learn about the colleges within the University and the academic programs that they offer, and meet with faculty, staff, and academic advisors. Participants will also have the chance to tour the campus and learn about the history and traditions of Texas A&M University. If you are interested in transferring to Texas A&M University, then please consider attending this important event.

02/09/08 MAES - Science Extravaganza
Hosted by the TAMU student chapter of MAES (Society of Mexican-American Engineers and Scientists), the MAES Science Extravaganza at TAMU will be a full day event for high school sophomores and juniors intrested in science and engineering. Students will get a chance to see various science and engineering related presentations, activities, and lessons, conducted by university students and professors, along with industry professionals. Students will also acquire information on pre-college curriculums and requirements for entering college or universities.

Aggieland Saturday, Texas A&M University's annual campus-wide open house for prospective students and their families. During this special day, you can meet current students, take a look at campus housing, visit our libraries and computer labs and see what A&M has to offer you. You can also learn more about our colleges and majors, and obtain information about admissions, financial aid and scholarships. Don't miss this chance to come and see what we are all about.

02/23/08 SWE High School Conference
The SWE (Society of Women Engineers) high school conference is open to any male or female high school student interested in math, science, or engineering. This conference is designed to offer those students a firsthand look at the opportunities available to them in the field of engineering. We plan many exciting activities for this conference, including dynamic speakers, tours of several engineering labs and facilities, attending actual university classes, panel discussions, a design competition, an informal banquet, and much more!

02/29/08 NSBE Olympiad
The NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers) Olympiad brings high school students from throughout Texas to the A&M campus to experience college life. The event includes a math and science competition, scholarships, participants meet with different departments, and will have a chance to see different things about A&M that cater to minorities. Open to high school students. At this time, plans are to offer the program free to participants if all necessary funding can be secured.

03/01/08 FAME Conference
Sponsored by the Student Engineers' Council at Texas A&M, the FAME (Future A&M Engineers) Conference is a 2 day program in the spring semester designed for high school sophomores and juniors to learn about the different disciplines of engineering, to have fun with other high school students from around Texas, and an overnight stay in an A&M dorm. Activities at the conference include a group engineering design competition, one-on-one interaction with engineering students from Texas A&M University, time to hang out in A&M's Rec Center, and a tour of the Texas A&M campus. The conference costs $20 and is a great opportunity to explore the field of engineering and the Texas A&M campus.
